Maritza Carlsson
Maritza Rivera Carlsson is a multilingual Sustainability and ESG expert with over 13 years of international experience across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. She holds two MSc degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Technology, with deep expertise in circular economy, climate risk, waste reduction, and sustainable infrastructure. Maritza has led ESG strategy development, SDG- and IFC-aligned impact assessments, and multi-stakeholder sustainability initiatives for governments, corporations, and international organizations. Her work spans advisory roles with the British Embassy, Telenor Group, SIDA-UN-Habitat, and applied research with KTH and IKEA’s circular economy pilots.
