Meet Our Trainer
Andre Coetzee
Mr. Andre has over 20 years of experience as a consultant and trainer in Asset Management, Maintenance, and Shutdown/Turnaround operations, working with leading organizations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Northwest University, South Africa, and began his career at ISCOR Limited, where he advanced to Manager Planning & Development (Maintenance), leading major shutdowns and capital projects with strong exposure to project management, maintenance strategy, and HSE. In 1998, he founded Radiant Operations International (Pty) Ltd, where he developed Impact Driven Asset Management (IDAM) successfully applied across steel, mining, cement, water treatment, and service industries and has since delivered engagements in Botswana, India, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, South Africa, and Zambia
Learning Outcomes Key Topic
Delegates will:
- Understand operational asset efficiency, associated risks, and ways to increase availability, achieve production targets, and reduce costs
- Learn fundamentals of Reactive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Impact Driven Asset Management (IDAM)
- Understand the Digital Twin concept and its benefits
- Identify key aspects of equipment level reliability to optimize in service time, cost, and asset utilization
- Benefit from artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IIoT
- Apply reliability based maintenance concepts to current strategies, avoid common pitfalls, and realize short and long term gains, increasing asset uptime
Reason To Attend This Training
Proper plant maintenance reduces operating costs and boosts productivity. While often seen as an expense, maintenance is an essential profit centre. Many businesses remain in reactive maintenance cycles, leading to compromised operational integrity, breakdowns, ineffective reliability programs, knowledge gaps in handling equipment deficiencies, and challenges in maintaining plants under budget constraints.
This masterclass provides insights into plant reliability, maintenance strategies, and current execution practices. Companies operating stably can exploit opportunities such as economical asset life extension, workforce skill utilization, and enhanced risk management. This comprehensive two day masterclass surveys reliability issues, solutions, and tools for better maintenance decisions.
